Revere Coastal District – Book of Ideas

Revere – a diverse city on the outskirts of Boston and home to America’s first public beach – was the subject for students in the Spring 2015 Urban Planning Core Studio.  Students embraced Revere’s historic role as an entertainment center, while filtering that history through the demographic, economic, and climactic changes facing the city. Each individual or team focused on one of seven areas in Revere’s long coastal district.  They presented their findings and proposals in a Book of Ideas (below), as well through a public poster presentation at Revere City Hall.
